Tumaini was born in the village and was the original baby class teacher in 2010 when Shikabania was founded. She wears many hats now, supervising the library, serving as a receptionist for visiting parents and guests , and filling in for lower school teachers when necessary. She lives with her husband and 11 step-children. Tumaini is an avid flower gardener.
